System administrator / remote support

Responsibilities

• Providing quality remote IT support for customers of Stemo Technology Services;

• Effective communication with customers and elimination of various problems;

• Participation in processes related to the system administration of infrastructure services and end users, including hardware;

• Participation in processes related to monitoring, automation, planned and regular activities;

Activities

• Implementation of regular tasks for monitoring and checking the status and functionality of various IT systems according to established procedures;

• Work with objects in Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Exchange Online;

• Configuring users in a Microsoft Exchange mail server;

• Manage rights to shared folders and file servers and backup tasks;

• Installation of operating systems and applications;

• Configuration and management of user profiles;

• Troubleshooting end-user problems related to operating systems (Windows) and various applications;

• Antivirus program management;

• Participation in mass rollout projects for installation, configuration and / or update of operating systems and applications;

• Configuration of basic network settings of various devices according to established procedures;

• Work with remote support systems;

• Supporting inventory activities to maintain the CMDB.

Reporting and interaction (reporting)

• Reports to the Team Leader of the technology support and consulting services team and reports on its work daily and weekly;

• Works closely with staff from the Help Desk team, field engineers, as well as with engineers and consultants from II and III level of support;

• Works with end customers through various channels - e-mail, telephone, conference communication systems.

Requirements

• Education in the field of information technologies;

• Knowledge and experience with Windows Desktop, Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Azure Active Directory, Active Directory, PC hardware, network technologies and protocols.

• The following aspects will be considered an advantage:

o Previous experience as a system administrator;

o Experience in working with clients (direct and / or remote);

o Experience with virtualization platforms Hyper-V and VMware;

o Experience in working with backup systems;

o Experience in working with monitoring systems and / or working in NOC or SOC;

o Technical certificates;

o Knowledge of scripting languages - PowerShell, Python, Shell Script or others
